Privacy Policy

GenerationIX LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Texas, United States, is the data controller for personal data collected through this site. You can reach us at ov@generationix.net about anything in this policy, including to request our postal address.

When you submit the pilot enquiry form, we collect the name, work email, company, role, expected video volume, timeline, and project brief that you enter.

When you submit the deck request form, we collect the name, work email, firm, role, investor type, typical check size, and any note that you enter.

Both forms record the time of submission. We do not ask for, and you should not submit, special category data or confidential information.

When you submit a form, our server briefly holds your IP address in memory to enforce a rate limit — a maximum of five submissions per address in any ten-minute window. This protects the endpoint from abuse.

That record holds only the address and submission timestamps, is never written to disk, is never attached to your enquiry, and is discarded automatically once it falls outside the ten-minute window or the server restarts.

Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, which can include IP addresses, for security and reliability purposes.

This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no third-party tracking scripts. There is nothing here to consent to, which is why you are not being shown a cookie banner.

Web fonts are downloaded at build time and served from our own domain, so loading a page on this site does not send a request — or your IP address — to Google or any other font host.

We use the information you submit for these purposes:

• To reply to your enquiry and, if it goes further, to scope a pilot or send investor materials. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
• To protect the site from spam and abuse, through rate limiting and automated screening. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and available.
• To meet legal obligations where they apply. Legal basis: compliance with a legal obligation.

We do not use your details for unrelated marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list on the strength of an enquiry. If we ever want to, we will ask you first.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf, under contract and on our instructions only:

• An email delivery provider, to deliver enquiry notifications to our inbox.
• A hosting provider, to serve the site and run the enquiry endpoint.
• Professional advisers, or authorities, where we are legally required to disclose.

GenerationIX LLC is established in the United States, and our providers process data there. If you contact us from outside the United States, your personal data is transferred to and stored in a country whose data protection laws may differ from your own.

Where data is transferred from the UK or European Economic Area, we rely on an appropriate safeguard — normally the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement. You can ask us for details.

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with it, and for up to 24 months afterwards so that we have context if we speak again. After that we delete it, unless we are required to keep it longer.

Rate-limiting records last minutes, as described above. Ask us to delete your enquiry sooner and we will, subject to any legal obligation to retain it.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you, and receive a copy.
• Have inaccurate data corrected.
• Have your data deleted.
• Restrict or object to how we use it, including objecting to processing based on legitimate interests.
• Receive data you gave us in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent, where we relied on consent, without affecting earlier processing.

To exercise any of these, email ov@generationix.net. We will respond within one month. There is no charge, and we will not treat you differently for asking. If you are in the UK or EEA and believe we have handled your data badly, you can complain to your local supervisory authority — though we would appreciate the chance to put it right first.

The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act gives Texas residents rights over their personal data. The rights listed above cover them, and we apply them to everyone who asks rather than only where the law compels it.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for targeted advertising or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. If we ever refuse a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision, and if we refuse the appeal you can complain to the Texas Attorney General.

The site is served over HTTPS. Enquiry submissions are validated server-side, rate-limited, and screened for automated abuse. Access to enquiry correspondence is limited to people who need it.

No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send confidential material through the enquiry forms.

This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. For material changes affecting how we use data you have already given us, we will make a reasonable effort to tell you directly.
